URL shorteners and tracking redirects obscure the true destination of a link, a common vector in phishing campaigns that target executives and finance teams. This tool follows every redirect server-side, showing each hop's status code, hostname, and final URL so you can verify the destination before clicking. An HTTPS-to-HTTP downgrade mid-chain is a red flag: it strips transport security and can expose the link visit to interception. Security teams can use this alongside the Security Headers Checker to inspect the destination's defences once the real URL is known.
